AutoCAD 2013 is THE professional 2D and 3D CAD design tool. It is intended for profressionals who create building blueprints, maps, diagrams and drawings in both 2D and 3D environments.
I am aware that there are similar (but significantly less helpful) products on the market for PC users, but I am such a C'74 fan that I am asking if anyone has been able to adapt Soundflower to windows? Does anyone know of any plans or user-based projects to make SF available for Windows 7 OS.
- Soundflower free download, and many more programs.
- Both of my audio interfaces (Motu Ultralite mk4 & Apollo Twin mk2) can do internal audio loopback in the software included with the devices. I don’t think you can reliably do what soundflower does in Windows without some hardware moving the audio around.

I don’t think you can reliably do what soundflower does in Windows without some hardware moving the audio around. Soundflower is a type of system extension which involves the extension for your channel audio from one application to another one. It doesn’t require any type of extra support for sending and receiving the audio. Generally, people are more attracted to open source projects as they don’t have to do any payment for this.
This program by AutoDesk is currently the leader in the field of computer-aided designed. It is used primarily by designers, engineers and architects. Anybody in engineering design knows of AutoCAD.
This application opens up the possibility of creating freehand designs and structures by using the mouse from within the main interface of AutoCAD. The overall design is complicated, but nevertheless comfortable considering the amount of tools made available.
This program also features improved importing from previous AutoCAD versions. The package also includes help files which help new users might find useful in finding their way around.
Please note that you must fill out a form in order to complete the download of AutoCAD 2015.
Students may be eligible for a free version or a discounted version of AutoCAD.

This download is licensed as shareware for the Windows operating system from 3d design and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). The AutoCAD 2021 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the full version of this software.
Compatibility with this 3D design software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from Autodesk, Inc.

Dear all, I need to send audio from a VST-host application (like Ableton Live) to Max, AND viceversa.
That is because I need to process in Max the audio input from sound-card, but I also would like to use a couple of VST that work better with Ableton Live than with Max.
So I can't use Rewire protocol (that is just 'one-way') and I can't use Soundflower because I'm on Windows XP.
Thank you very much,Bruno

- You could have also used Jack, if you were on Mac or Linux, but alas....You could use one of the tools that allows you to send audio over IP (can't remember what it's called on PC, but it exists), and then specify 'localhost' as the receiving machine. Most of the audio over IP tools allow you to do something like that...-- Dan NigrinDefective Records202 Hack / PC-1600 User / VSTi Host / OMS Convert / Jack OS Xhttp://www.defectiverecords.comhttp://www.jackosx.com
- Try this : http://plasq.com/wormholeNot free but seems reliable...Forget anything about Virtual Audio Cable and Max. It's a pain in the ass.f.e
- Save your Max Patch as a pluggo plugin, install the free Pluggo runtime, and you can use it inside Live.....
- Pretty sad there is not an equivalent on Windows. I've been following the beta of Vista and on the audio side it doesn't look quite exciting, quite sad they are not putting efforts in making audio more profesionnal on Windows :(
- There is Total Recorder (but not free) http://www.totalrecorder.com/
- hum... sorry I answered too quickly. I believed that you wanted to record any audio sources.. I don't know if this software can send audio on other softwares...
- By the way, JACK for windows isn't just in the pipeline - there is actually a working version (jackdmp), although it's still a bit buggy. It's mentioned on the main JACK page but can be found here:http://www.grame.fr/~letz/jackdmp.htmlAlso, see this thread a KVR audio if you need help setting things up:http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=158585&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=60&sid=2859e0dba9026856525bada5d38e77c8I have it running on my machine with no problems so far, Live sending audio to Max, sweet.
- the s oun din vista is ok. it uses alot less recorces for my personal experience. I'm not sure exactly on the technical side of it but i heard things saying that they took the audio drivers out of the main kernal so it runs as a separate thread like on unx systems. Jack for windows would be great...i didn't know that there was a working version out i shall try tonight if i have time. Jack on linux and max/msp work ok...i've had problems with using jack so i have only tryed some tests. For using max in vst windows applciations....just use pluggo the tutorials are really usful and simple to follow. Its pretty awesome
- Virtual Audio CardIt's free and it works on Windows XP and it creates 3 Virtual Audio Cables as Windows Sound drivers. It comes from a software kit for a commercial TCP/IP mp3 streaming device. Go figure. Works for me in place of VAC (Virtual Audio Cable) but the latency on my machine is pretty awful. YMMV
